As the founder of AMHR Advisors, Amber Hartman leverages her 20 years of experience to bring insight, perspective and expertise to all aspects of human resources. Her passion is providing HR solutions for her clients by helping them make the most of their talent and resources. Amber’s expertise includes talent management, employee benefits, compliance, and training and development. Amber held several corporate HR leadership positions in a variety of industries including, manufacturing, not-for-profit organizations, and professional services.


 Amber is a graduate of SUNY College at Buffalo. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR, SHRM – CP) and is working toward her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation. Amber is an active member of many prominent HR organizations including the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM)  and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). She is a member of Buffalo Business First’s 2014 “40 Under Forty” Class.     


Amber enjoys spending time with her family, reading and listening to music. She is married with two children. Amber also enjoys volunteering with the Taste of Buffalo, where she is a member of the Board of Directors and currently holds the position of Secretary on the executive committee.  In addition, Amber also serves on the the Mount St. Mary’s Alumnae Board.
